When driving along the Interstate in your truck you’re likely to encounter several bridges along the way. Most are fairly standard in appearance — flat, concrete structures that serve a vital purpose in connecting our highways in order to make quick transportation possible.
That said, bridge building is also an art form, and there are bridges in America and around the world that go beyond serviceability and venture into becoming architectural wonders. Recently, CNN did a story on 24 of the world’s most beautiful bridges. Several of those on the list are here in the United States and are likely familiar to you, such as the Golden Gate Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge. Many more are international destinations, such as Tower Bridge in London and Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia. Some of the structures are stunning and will surprise you.
Included on the list are:
1. Golden Gate
2. Sydney Harbour
3. Ponte Vecchio
4. Brooklyn Bridge
5. Gateshead Millennium
6. Tsing Ma
7. Pearl Bridge
8. Hangzhou Bay
9. Nanpu
10. Tower Bridge
11. Pont du Gard Aqueduct
12. Royal Gorge
13. Seri Wawasan

But why do we let mankind take all of the credit? It turns out Mother Nature has her own approach to bridge construction. Some of the world’s most gorgeous natural bridges are found here in Utah. Their beauty is breathtaking, and seeing them is much cheaper than booking a flight to Japan.
